Mumbai-based Christ Institute of Management has started its campus operations at Lavasa City near Pune.

The institute will offer two-year full-time PGDM courses with specialisation in Finance and Marketing from this June at the new campus.

“We are very happy to get associated with the city of Lavasa and establish an institute of management extending our experience in the field of Indian higher education to this emerging centre of learning,” said Fr K J Varghese, Director of CIM Lavasa in a press statement.

CIM was established by the Christ University Trust which is the promoter of Christ University, Bangalore. The curriculum and pedagogy at CIM Lavasa City include personal mentoring, corporate interface, industry visits and live projects. The teaching methodology includes simulation, role plays, blended learning etc.

Other educational tie-ups associated with Lavasa City include AOC, UK, Pearson, Little Millennium, UKIBC, Biomimicry Guild USA, City & Guilds, Great India, University of Northampton, Christel House, Doon Public School, Symbiosis University Pune, Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne and Educomp.
