While social media has changed the way people communicate, organisations are struggling to successfully incorporate these technologies and develop their innovation capabilities. IIM Bangalore’s Centre for Software and IT Management plans to address these challenges through a research forum. IIM-B will be organising a research forum on March 15 on ‘Social Media, Big Data and Innovation at campus’. IIM-B has collaborated with Knowledge Community, Nasscom, National Human Resources Development, Network Bangalore, and University of Massachusetts for the forum. The event is part of a larger study on social media and innovation supported by the Fulbright-Nehru Senior Researcher Award and will feature industry experts and academic presentation followed by a group discussion.
