IIM-A wins Sangharsh 2015 title

IIM Ahmedabad has won the annual inter-IIM sports meet, Sangharsh 2015 that concluded on Sunday at the IIM Lucknow campus. The event witnessed IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta and Lucknow face off in a sports extravaganza during the three days starting from January 2.

IIM-A emerged as winner of the sports meet outshining other three IIMs in cricket, chess, throw-ball, tennis, table-tennis men, volleyball women and badminton women. Students from country’s top business school secured second position in men’s volleyball and carrom, and third spot in basketball-men, basketball-women, snooker, and badminton-men.

IIM Calcutta was the distant overall runner-up at the event. The next edition of Sangharsh will be hosted by IIM-A in January 2016.
