How much more?
“When the ‘trickle-down’ effect is pulled down as being ineffective it needs to be understood that accumulation has to go up for ‘trickle-down’ to be effective” (‘The power of market competition, Cambuzz , June 20). India ranks second in terms of HNWIs. How much more accumulation do you think is needed for the wealth to trickle down?

Kudos!
With reference to ‘After all, it’s just a rupee!’ (Cambuzz, June 20), it is something worth thinking about!

Look to nature
This is with reference to the article ‘Where are the drugs for tropical diseases?’(Cambuzz, May 13). What about papaya leaf extract which has been reported as being a home cure for dengue fever, and endorsed by two or more Asian research institutions? What about camote/sweet potato tea which rapidly raises platelet counts within the first 24 hours?
Why not send mobile units into communities and teach people they have the nutritional prevention and cure measures in the plants surrounding their light material homes or air conditioned mansions. Neem is ignored because knowledge has been suppressed. Tawa-tawa is trampled underfoot and plucked as an annoying weed. Neem is the best and safest thing to keep mosquitoes from biting us.
Patented drugs, vaccines, and treatments come with their ‘acceptable’ toxic and harmful side effects, and known rates of killing power. Let's have some honesty. Will it begin here and now?
