The Bangalore-based BCIL Zed is coming up with two residential projects – Zed Woods and Zed Earth that will offer a blend of green living with urban comfort. The company is investing Rs 90 crore for Zed Earth and Rs 18 crore for Zed Woods.

Zed Earth has blended the traditional knowledge systems of Indian architecture and ‘vaastu', with contemporary engineering expertise.

BCIL Zed Earth has over 130 homes on offer. The first phase offers 44 stand-alone, single-family homes over a spread of 6.7 acres and the second over 80 homes over a land expanse of 12 acres.

The prices of Zed Earth properties start from Rs 1.5 crore and can go up to Rs 4 crore.

Zed Earth villas are muted and do not stand out prominently. They offer a combination of rich wood floors, fine natural stone, and earth-toned walls on the outside. O2 tower nearing completion

Happy Home is set to complete O2, the 15-storied twin commercial tower built in association with Vikas Group in the residential hub of Mulund West, Mumbai.

This new landmark also indicates the trend of commercial offices shifting towards suburban Mumbai.

O2 is primarily targeted at the SME segment and professionals. O2 offers office spaces starting from 700 sq. ft with a dual business model of lease and buyout that indicates a new trend in commercial realty.

School in Eden Park township

L&T's Eden Park integrated township has opened a school to serve the residents in the town at Siruseri, about 30 km south of Chennai.

According to a press release from Eden Park, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan (PSBB), a premier chain of institutions has opened its new wing in the 90-acre Eden Park. The 3-acre school is opened for first batch of around 150 students from pre-KG to 5th standard with higher classes to start from next academic year.

The school will have modern amenities for sports and education infrastructure such as English Lab, Biology Lab, Creative Sciences Lab, Social Studies Lab and Computer Lab.
