ICICI Bank recently launched ‘Pockets’ — its digital bank offering. Through this, users can download and immediately activate e-wallets which can then be used to make payments across websites and transfer money to your contacts.
This e-wallet can be funded by any bank account holder, and does not have to necessarily be from ICICI Bank. The e-wallet requires no documentations or branch visits and is simply an app that can be downloaded. Users can even open a zero-balance savings account through this app, though you need to submit documentation for such opening.
