Legendary Italian motorcycle manufacturer, MV Agusta has announced that it will be entering the Indian market soon. The company will enter into a partnership with Pune-based Kinetic Group to import ultra premium performance oriented superbikes which will be sold through exclusive dealerships in major cities across the country.
The current MV Agusta portfolio consists of a range of exotic high-performance machines such as the Brutale, Rivale, Turismo Veloce, F3 and the range-topping F4. These bikes have engine capacities in the 800cc-1078cc range and feature cutting edge racing technologies that are designed to maximize power, performance and handling.
Based in Varese, Italy, MV Agusta was founded in 1945 and has since won multiple titles in 500cc and 350cc road-racing world championships, in addition to many races at the Isle of Man TT, the world's toughest road racing circuit.
Its flagship model, the MV Agusta F4, designed by the iconic Massimo Tamburini is a four-cylinder 1000cc motorcycle that is capable of achieving top speeds in excess of 300 kmph.
Kinetic has stated that it has license to launch all the models from MV Augusta’s stable over the next 3 years with the first launch slated for November 2015.
The bikes are expected to be priced between INR 12 lakh and 33 lakh.
