Technology-led ayurveda platform NirogStreet has raised about ₹2 crore ($300,000) from investors, including Japanese venture fund Spiral Ventures. The other investors are Subho Ray (President, IAMAI) and Samir Kumar (Director of Derivatives, Deutsche Bank, Singapore).

The company plans to use the money to improve technology and to spread awareness about Ayurveda. The company looks to raise pre-Series A funding in October. NirogStreet has been working with ayurveda institutions and researchers to advance ayurvedic research and collaboration with modern medical technologies. Incubated at CSIR – IIIM, NirogStreet streamlines learning, sharing expertise and exchange second opinion on treatments through its mobile app.

It has over 15,000 doctors engaged on its platform. The technology-driven platform provides access to authentic ayurveda doctors at a world-wide level to implement best practices and deliver quality healthcare and genuine medicines.
