My favourite airport: Singapore’s Changi Airport
What I like about it: Some old favourites just don’t change, and one of them in Changi. This is an airport that is always ahead of the curve. I am waiting for Changi to turn into a total iOT airport. If any airport will do it first, I’m sure it will be Changi. This airport has kept reinventing itself all the time and has something for everyone.
What could be improved: Changi could improve just one thing for me. Maybe a cycling track? And some place to unwind after all those flights you have been sitting in or sleeping in.
Other airports I like: None from the West at all. Thailand’s Suvarnabhoomi is no. 2. My cutest airport is the one in Bellary. It is small and totally made to tradition. And then there is the Mumbai airport. This is not an airport. It is a modern museum experience.
