The five things Raman Narula, Founder & MD, Formula Group & Formula2Ride, does to keep fit:

1. Fitness for me is a way of life. My fitness regime includes the age-old mantra of early to bed, early to rise. By 11:00 pm I’m ready to sleep and I rise early by 6 am at least 5 days a week; from Monday to Friday.

2.After I wake up, I, either go for a 5 km run or play a game of tennis followed by 30 minutes of light weight training aimed at muscle toning. This is followed by 15 minutes of stretching and yoga for holistic fitness.

3.Twice a week I play golf which is a game of Mind, Body, and Soul. My fitness mantra includes 30 per cent focus on exercise and 70 per cent on diet. I start my day with a glass of hot water followed by some walnuts and nuts which provide adequate protein before my exercise. The exercise routine is followed with an apple.

4. My breakfast includes a high protein diet of 4 boiled eggs with 2 toasts and a bowl of cereal with honey. The afternoon meal includes a light homemade lunch of vegetables and bread.

5.At dinner, I eat like a pauper. This means my meal is completely carbohydrate-free and is instead replaced by chicken or fish with vegetables.
