Brisk, fast-paced football in indoor cages
My day begins at 7 am with two glasses of hot water and two teaspoons of honey. It’s a sport a day for me, be it football, badminton or cycling. I carry my gym-bag to work everyday.
Every night at 9 pm, I play a brisk and fast-paced game of football in “indoor cages” with artificial turfs. The game requires 12 people, and sometimes it is difficult to get a cage free for a game! Alternatively, I play badminton, also in the evening from 8 to 9 pm. I am part of a cycling club and every weekend, we set out at 7 am and cover between 20 and 40 kilometres a day.
Diet-wise I stay away from rice and sweet, though there are those cheat days. I also take protein shakes to get my 50 to 70 gms of proteins everyday.
If I am unable to play, I make sure there are 10 minutes of push-ups and sit-ups at the least.
My day ends at about 12.30 am watching light-hearted shows. It is important to finish dinner about three hours before sleeping. So I avoid eating after 9 pm and drink lots of water through the day to negate the effects of caffeine.
