Ocimum Biotracker for Irish institute

THE National Institute for Cellular Biotechnology (NICB), Dublin University in Ireland has acquired a Biotracker, which is a centralised database to assist researchers in genetics, from Ocimum Biosolutions.

The Chief Executive Officer of Ocimum, Ms Anuradha Acharya, said that Science-Partners Ltd, UK, a software distribution company that specialises in life sciences, would be the partner to implement the project.

Using Biotracker, which is multi-platform laboratory information management system (LIMS), corporates and research institutes can track samples, reagents, instruments, processes and a range of laboratory activity involved in genomics and proteomics.
