Bangalore, June 22

CIBERsites India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the US-based CIBER Inc, on Thursday announced the opening of its third India software development centre here. CIBER is an international IT consulting services organisation based in Denver. CIBER India has its centres in Bangalore with a total headcount of 300. The new facility would have a 550-seat capacity.

The India centre is part of the company's expansion plans to strengthen its offshore application development and management operations after it acquired Knowledge Systems Pvt Ltd in June last year. With the increasing demand for its IT services, which includes high end consulting in ERP and embedded solutions, CIBERsites would act as an important offshore delivery centre.
