MosChip ships over 2 m MCS9800 units

Hyderabad , July 17

MosChip Semiconductor Technology Ltd, a Hyderabad-based fabless semiconductor company, has announced it has achieved a significant milestone of shipping over 2 million units of MCS9800 family of chips.

The CEO of MosChip, Mr Ram Reddy, in a statement on Monday said "this is a major milestone for MosChip and a testament to the engineering and marketing capability of our team. Our other products are also winning designs and we expect this momentum to continue."

These bridge chips are used in point of sales machines, industrial automation, set top boxes and gaming motherboards among others.
