Mergers & Acquisitions Vox Spectrum acquires Mack Telecom Our Bureau
Bangalore , Dec 18 Vox Spectrum has announced the acquisition of telecom firm Mack Telecom Services. Vox owns intellectual properties in computer-telephony integration. With this investment, it will foray into voice-related services such as digital voice logging and voice and data networks infrastructure for telecom operators. Telecom engineering, particularly the setting up of network infrastructure, has huge potential in India. Various Indian telecom operators have committed nearly $20 billion for the expansion of their networks over the next few years, said Mr Vinod Krishnan, Managing Director of Vox Spectrum. Mack Telecom employs over 100 engineers and has partnered with Qualcomm to provide CDMA technology training in India. Vox Spectrum is part of a private group that owns True Blue Voice India, which distributes Plantronics headsets, and Timna Telecoms in the UAE.
