Sasan financial closure likely by 2007 end

The MD of Lanco Infratech Ltd, Mr G. Venkatesh Babu, told Business Line that the company would be able to achieve `financial closure' for the Rs 16,000-crore Sasan ultra mega project by the end of 2007 or January 2008.

Thereafter, the first of the six units will be commissioned in 36 months and one each six months thereafter and the project will be completed within 54 months.
