The software is intended to meet the increasingly complex needs of business operations and is designed using the Matrix concept and is the only one of its kind in the accounting software market, Mr T. Ragunathan, Managing Director, told newspersons. Saya Matrix Accounting uses the unique patented Matrix accounting system to provide an integrated enterprise reporting programme, which provides a particularly flexible reporting system capable of meeting all accounting, inventory, stores and MIS needs. The system is developed for small, medium and large enterprises; the company also customises the software according to user requirements, he added. According to Mr Ragunathan, the company has set a sales target of Rs 1.5 crore from the Kerala market in the first year of operations by selling around 2,000 packages. The advantage in the Kerala market is that every shop has a PC and installing the software is much easier, he added. This latest version of the software is the result of a prolonged development programme using the shared efforts of a development team of software engineers, chartered accountants and certified public accountants taking into account the feedback and requirement of customers, he said. The company also plans to launch industry-specific products such as payroll, rental accounting, personal finance, hotel management accounting, food and beverages, etc.
