Airtel launches `Yuva' pre-paid card

New Delhi June 14 In a bid to catch them young, Airtel has announced the introduction of a pre-paid mobile card specifically targeted at the youngsters in Delhi and the NCR.

Called the Airtel `Yuva Prepaid Pack', it comes with special benefits such as night calling tariff at 10 paise per minute for an Airtel to Airtel local call.

Features

The plan allows subscribers to send SMS at 25 paise and is bundled with 1,500 free local Airtel-to-Airtel SMS (valid for the first 3 months). The Yuva Prepaid Pack also offers attractive day tariff of 50 paise a minute for a local Airtel to Airtel call.

The pre-paid pack is available for Rs 300 with a talk time of Rs 30 and 300 minutes local Airtel to Airtel talk time. Mr Christopher Tobit, CEO, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel Ltd, Delhi & NCR circle, said, "Keeping in mind the requirements of today's youth, Airtel has introduced `Yuva Prepaid Pack' that aims to connect with the fizz of the youth with special tariffs.

The introduction of the Airtel `Yuva Prepaid Pack' is the culmination of an extensive customer research, which has helped us to understand the requirements of the young mobile population wanting to go mobile in Delhi. We are sure that such offerings will open up new segments in the market."
