Satyam showcases telecom tools

Hyderabad, March 3 IT services provider Satyam Computer is showcasing its range of telecommunication solutions at the Tele Management World, currently being hosted in West Asia.The event is sponsored by TM Forum, a trade association that focuses on the world of communications, information and entertainment services.

As a systems integrator for communication service providers, Satyam has showcased the Telco xPress, which offers pre-integrated solutions for telecos to acquire customers, provide services, generate revenues and manage businesses.

“The telecommunications sector in the region is at its peak, offering opportunities for service providers to offer innovative management solutions, with support,” Mr Virender Aggarwal, Director and Senior Vice-President for Satyam’s Asia-Pacific, Middle East, India and Africa operations, said in a statement .

In the West Asia region, Satyam achieved over 100 per cent growth in its year-on-year revenues and added over 20 per cent in its quarter-on-quarter numbers for the third quarter of its fiscal year 2007-2008.
