Networking site for BPO employees

Our Bureau

Mumbai, July 8 BPO employees can now claim to have a dedicated social networking site for themselves.

A clutch of ex-BPO employees have come together to set up bpoviews.com, an initiative that will use collective intelligence of as many BPO professionals as possible to create a resource pool on various issues, said Mr Amit Saxena, Chief Executive Officer, bpovoice.com.

“When we analysed most of the other BPO-related networks such as Google groups or Orkut communities, we observed that they were either having spam messages or job hunt drives or mindless games. That is where we saw our scope to create an online resource, to which every one (present and prospective) professional can refer to,” said Mr Saxena.

According some estimates, there are about half a million BPO employees in the country.
