Ahmedabad Advertising Circle Association (AACA) on Monday awarded 34 creative advertising players from the city in 16 categories. The “Festival of Advertising” as it was christened, hosted advertising doyen and creative film director Prahlad Kakkar as the Guest of Honor. "Close to 600 entries poured in as a precursor to the awards. That itself speaks of the kind of work that happens in Ahmedabad,” said Ajit Shah, President, AACA.
The event saw the united presence of media houses in Ahmedabad in support of creativity in a one-of-a-kind joint activation and was successful in generating a buzz within the media fraternity. The award categories included advertising in infrastructure, FMCG, automobiles, consumer durables & appliances, lifestyle, hospitality, finance, education, corporate and government, healthcare, entertainment, innovation and response, social cause, public interest, TV, cinema, radio and outdoor with 16 Gold awards and 18 Silver awards.
