Empee Distilleries has entered into a three-year agreement with United Spirits Ltd to manufacture Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) products for distribution in Karnataka.
The manufacturing will be undertaken at Empee’s unit in Arabhikothanur village in Kolar district, Karnataka, said a company release.
Commenting on the company’s decision, Nisha Purushothaman, JMD of Empee Distilleries, said “The company is also working out a detailed plan for export of IMFL to East Asian countries from this plant.”
