Battery maker Eveready Industries India Ltd today reported over 3-fold increase in standalone net profit at Rs 15.33 crore for the third quarter ended December 30, 2014.
The company had reported net profit of Rs 4.52 crore in the corresponding period of last fiscal.
Eveready’s net sales in the quarter under review stood at Rs 325.22 crore, up 9.70 per cent compared with Rs 296.44 crore in the corresponding period in 2013-14.
Overall expenses stood at Rs 298.39 crore as against Rs 282.02 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Shares of Eveready Industries India were trading at Rs 214.95 apiece, down 0.32 per cent from the previous close, on the BSE.
