Swiggy, a Bangalore-based food ordering and delivery start-up, has announced its entry into Hyderabad.
After making inroads in Bangalore and Gurgaon, Swiggy promises to provide a hassle-free food delivery experience in Hyderabad.
Founded by Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy and Rahul Jaimini, Swiggy operates around the concept of delivering food from the best restaurants in a neighbourhood to the customer’s doorstep. It has its own fleet of delivery personnel equipped with smart phones.
“Our ultimate aim is to deliver quality food around the clock to patrons seamlessly in India. In a short span, we partnered with over 80 restaurants and look forward to tying up with more popular restaurants and prominent food chains in the coming months,” Nandan Reddy, Co-founder, Swiggy, said in a statement.
Swiggy had recently raised $ 2 million from SAIF Partners and Accel Partners. The funds are being used to hire and expand the coverage across the top 10 cities in India by the year-end.
