Car maker Ford India today reported a marginal rise in total sales in November this year at 10,155 units. The company had sold 10,091 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales, however, declined by 28.57 per cent to 5,944 units in November this year against 8,322 units in the same month last year, Ford India said in a statement.
The company exported a record 4,211 units last month compared to 1,769 units in the year-ago period, registering over two-fold growth, it added.
Commenting on the sales performance, Ford India Executive Director (Marketing, Sales and Service) Vinay Piparsania said: “Despite the ongoing market challenges, we are pleased to see customer sentiments improving and their confidence in the Ford brand continuing to grow.”
