Home textiles company Himatsingka Seide has posted a 6.4 per cent rise in second quarter net profit at Rs 5 crore. Net sales (standalone) rose 11 per cent to Rs 174 crore.
Consolidated revenues grew 29 per cent to Rs 473 crore, while consolidated net profit grew 12 per cent to Rs 11.48 crore.
Distribution revenues in North America (from Calvin Klein Home, Barbara Barry, other brands and private label lines) grew 9.6 per cent to $72 million. Distribution revenues in Europe through the Bellora brand dipped 15 per cent to euro 3.18 million.
Distribution revenues in India, West Asia and South East Asia (from the Atmosphere brand) grew 12.8 per cent to Rs 12.78 crore. Manufacturing revenue for the drapery/upholstery and bedding divisions grew 16 per cent to Rs 186 crore, said the company in a release.
The release also said that the company has launched an e-commerce platform for its luxury brands Atmosphere and Bellora, across 35 countries.
