Serial entrepreneur Mr Sashi Reddi-led Hyderabad Angels Network has made an investment of Rs 2 crore into Green India Building Systems and Services Private Limited (GIBSS).

Hyderabad Angels, a network of angel investors, is focused on early stage businesses which have potential to create disproportionate value. GIBSS, a Thane, Mumbai-based company is into renewables and addresses the demand and supply gap with energy-efficient Geothermal, hot water cogeneration and lighting systems that help buildings reduce operational costs by 60-80 per cent, said a release.

Mr Arun Shenoy of GIBSS said, “We have generated savings of over 5 million electrical units in buildings across India, reduced 75 million litres of water usage and 6,000 tonnes of carbon footprint. We look forward to creating larger positive triple bottom line impact through wider reach and innovative solutions that address all customer pain points.”
