Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) on Monday reported 9.7 per cent growth in sales at 37,305 units in February 2015 compared with 34,005 units in the same month last year, the company said in a statement.
Exports, however, declined 17.5 per cent to 10,307 in February 2015 compared with 12,500 units in the same month last year.
Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, HMIL, said, “Hyundai volumes of 37,305 units registered a growth of 9.7 per cent over last year on the strength of strong performance of Elite i20 with 10,264 units. The growth in additional and repeat buyers is higher than that of first time buyers.”
