Textile firm Indo Rama Synthetics (India) today said its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and whole-time Director Ashok Jagjivan Gupta has resigned from the company.
“Ashok Jagjivan Gupta, whole-time director and CEO of the company has resigned from the services of the company and will be relieved from the close of business hours on July 1, 2013,” Indo Rama Synthetics said in a filing to BSE.
Anant Kishore, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company has been promoted as Executive Director & CEO of the company, with effect from today, it added.
“Anant Kishore will be responsible for overall operations of the company and will report to its Board of Directors,” it said.
Shares of the company today closed at Rs 14.36 per scrip on the BSE, up 1.48 per cent from its previous close.
