IVRCL Ltd has posted a huge loss of ₹177.69 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013, against a loss of ₹68.13 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The infrastructure company revenues were also significantly lower for the third quarter at ₹956.16 crore against ₹1270.10 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. The company’s overall performance was impacted due to slowdown in implementation of EPC contracts and overall outgo of interest rates cutting into its profitability.
