The Piaggio Group of the Europen pedigree has sewn up plans for the introduction of a number of new launches across its brand portfolio of Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi, during the year in India.
This new range includes, SR 150 from the Aprila stable, which the company describes as a unique offering which is scooter like with bike traits, Roamer and Bobber from Moto Guzzi, Vespa 300 GTS scooter and the marquee Vespa 946 from the Georgio Armani collection, pegged in the super luxury category.
It is also considering offering Medley 150 and Liberty 125 under the Piaggio range.
MotoplexIn order to create the buzz for the entire range of scooters and bikes from the Piaggio brands, it has launched its second Motoplex in India and first in South at Hyderabad after the success of its first one at Pune in November 2015.
“Reflecting the innovative vision of the Piaggio Group, the store showcases the long standing history of our brands — Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi and highlights their fascinating journey that proudly stands for ‘Made in Italy’,” said Stefano Pelle, Managing Director and CEO of the Piaggio Vehicles Private Ltd.
Super luxury rangeSpeaking to BusinessLine after the launch of the new Motoplex here, Pelle said apart from the Moto Guzzi range, the super luxury range from Georgio Armani collection will be something very exciting to watch out for.
Motoplex multi brand stores have already been set up in Milan, New York City, Shanghai and Beijing where all the Piaggio Group brands coexist in one continuous experience.
