Glass packaging firm Piramal Glass has reported an over two-fold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 25.77 crore during the first quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 10.63 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal, Piramal Glass said in a filing to the BSE.
Consolidated net sales stood at Rs 428.10 crore during the April-June quarter compared with Rs 384.80 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal.
The company’s shares were trading at Rs 89.85 apiece on the BSE in the afternoon trade, down 3.02 per cent from their previous close.
