Engineering major Siemens Ltd has reported a 49 per cent decline in net profit for the fourth quarter ended September 30. The company reported ₹219 crore profit against ₹436 crore in the year ago quarter.
Siemens Ltd follows the German fiscal system. The income from operations remained flat at ₹3,231 crore (₹3,111 crore). The company has also announced a dividend of ₹6 per equity share and a special dividend of ₹4 per equity share, due to exceptional income during the year.
On the BSE, the stock closed at ₹1229.50, an increase of 1.01 per cent over the previous closing price.
