Tata Sons, the holding company of all Tata group firms, has elevated Group Chief Financial Officer Saurabh Agrawal and Titan Company Managing Director Bhaskar Bhat to its board.
Bhat, who is currently heading Titan, has helped the company drive brand value and a market cap of $10 billion, while Agrawal brings “deep” capital market knowledge and “valuable cross industry experience” to the group, Tata Sons said in a statement.
“We welcome Bhaskar and Saurabh to the Board of Directors. The Board will benefit from the tremendous experience and knowledge of these professionals in multiple domains. I wish them luck and look forward to working with them,” N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, said.
The Tata group, comprising over 100 independent operating companies, has operations in more than 100 countries across six continents.
