Chennai-based startup Uniphore Software Systems, which provides speech recognition technologies, has opened a new centre in Bengaluru.
This centre will add around 100 people in the next 15 months, the company said in a statement. Further, the centre will have teams in the areas R&D, business development, consumer technology and professional services.
Sanjeev Gadre, Chief Marketing Officer & Senior VP-HR, Uniphore Software Systems, will be leading the Bengaluru team, company executives said.
Commenting on the development, Gadre said that the availability of talent, coupled with the eco-system are very conducive to start-up growth and young companies. Apart from India, Uniphore is expanding its footprint in Singapore, Philippines and UAE, and recently appointed Douglas Peris as General Manager-Asia Pacific & Middle East.
