Ooty-headquartered fresh produce supply chain major – Lawrencedale Agro Processing India (P) Ltd (LEAF) – has raised Series B equity capital from Denmark-based BESTSELLER Foundation and US-based venture capital firm - Unitus Impact.
The financial details of the transaction are not known.With this fresh round of equity investment, LEAF would expand its footprint deeper – across South India, Palat Vijayaraghavan, Founder and Chief Executive of Lawrencedale Agro Processing said.
Kristian Sloth Peterson, MD, BESTSELLER Foundation said “the investment would be a perfect fit with our philosophy of working with farmers to improve sustainable agriculture value chains”.
