Facility management is an emerging sector and needs mature business models and standards on industry norms and regulations.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising ‘Facility Management 2012, Exhibition and Summit’ in Pune from October 19-21 to provide a platform for the facility management industry to network and expand in manufacturing, IT & ITES, defence, retail, sports and residential complexes.

Raja Kochar, Chairman, CII Pune Zonal Council and Managing Director, India, Eaton Technologies, says, “FM India 2012 aims at creating recognition for this new segment and new business opportunities for the stakeholders. This segment is just evolving in India and much awareness about it requires to be fostered.”

FM India 2012 will provide momentum to facility management as an important sector and also provide a roadmap on how its effective use can help companies sustain and enhance asset value.
