BOT road developer IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd has emerged as a preferred bidder for six-laning of the Kishangarh-Udaipur-Ahmedabad section of NH-79 in Rajasthan.
The section will be from km 90, near Gulabpura to km 214 at the end of Chitorgarh bypass, a total of about 125 km. The concession period of the project is 20 years, including a construction period of 910 days.
IRB has offered a premium of Rs 228.60 crore to NHAI in terms of concession agreement.
Subject to the award, IRB’s construction order book will increase to about Rs 11,300 crore, to be executed in the next four years. On awarding of the project, the company will have 21 road BOT projects out of which 13 are under operation.
