The IT and ITES Industry Association of Andhra Pradesh (ITsAP) is organising leadership workshop series for middle-level managers from July 28 to August 25.

This workshop aims to provide budding leaders with the tools to effectively lead others.

Participants will learn about critical leadership characteristics that contribute to personal and organisational success, and also get key tips that will help them build more effective relationships with team members and peers.

ITsAP Leadership Workshop Series is an active-learning experience that includes interactive exercises, short lectures and presentations, case studies and exercises.

Experienced faculty

A panel of experienced faculty has been drawn for this programme to give participants a unique experiential learning.

Mr V. Rajanna, President, ITsAP and Regional Head TCS Hyderabad, highlighting the opportunities and challenges for the Indian IT and ITES, said, “Leadership Development is one of the key objectives of ITsAP and the methodology adopted here is matured. Some of the core aspects related to leadership including hiring, talent development, conflict management etc are covered in the workshop.”

Decision skills

Decision skills will be addressed by faculty from TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, CA, INVESCO, ZenQA and AMD.

According to ITsAP, the workshop is being attended by 55 leaders at operational and functional levels from 23 IT and ITES companies.

It will end with an open house on ‘Leadership Issues and Concerns - Challenges ahead.’
