The eleventh edition of Print Pack India, which serves as platform for the printing, packaging and signage industry, is slated to kick off in Delhi from February 23.
The event will feature over 350 exhibits, with 70,000 visitors expected to participate. “This is particularly beneficial to small manufacturers who can showcase their product to a global audience,” T.R. Mahajan, Vice-President of the Indian Printing, Packaging and Allied machinery Manufacturers Association, told media persons here on Monday.
The printing industry is estimated at $16,000 million with a growth rate of 10-15 per cent. Andhra Pradesh is a major printing and packaging hub.
Out of the 700 players in the business, about 95 per cent represent the small and medium sector. “With the advent of digital technology in pre-and post-press, India will be in the forefront in this sector,” Mahajan said. Coinciding with the exhibition, the association will also host a two-day print business outlook conference.
