Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is leading a delegation in China to woo investments to the State, has secured assurance from Chinese mobile company OPPO for a manufacturing facility.
Though other details have not yet been shared, the Chinese company management has hinted as investment of about Rs 1000 crore, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office today.
AP is seeking to create a mobile and electronics manufacturing hub near the temple town of Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The State has inked memorandums with Micromax, Celkon, Karbonn and Foxconn for manufacturing units in the State.
