Flytta, a Hyderabad-based startup that offers relocation services, has raised an undisclosed seed investment from Corvus Ventures. Part of the Nasscom 10K Startups stable, Flytta was founded by Rahul Kanuganti and Gokulavasan about 18 months ago. “The investment will be used to build alliances with more corporates and create targeted relocation offerings,” Rahul Kanuganti, Flytta Chief Executive Officer, said.
Announcing the infusion of investment, he said the firm had done over 500 relocations for its clients from Hyderabad to cities such as Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru. Besides the logistics part, the start-up also offers services such as rentals, gas and Internet connections in the new place. He pegged the relocation industry in the country at Rs 6,000 crore, and growing at 20 per cent annually.
