Birla Sun Life asset management company has launched Birla Sun Life Commodity Equities Fund.

The fund offers three plans — Global Precious Metals (benchmarked against Dow Jones Precious Metals Index), Global Agri (benchmarked against S&P Global Agribusiness Index) and Global Multi Commodity (benchmarked against MSCI World Index).

The fund will invest a minimum of 80 per cent of its assets in equities and equity-linked instruments, which includes 65-100 per cent investments in overseas securites.

The new fund offers opens on September 15 and closes on October 14.The minimum investments is Rs 5,000.

JM Financial Mutual Fund has declared dividends under the dividend options of the JM Arbitrage Advantage Fund and JM Equity and Derivatives Fund. The dividend for both the funds is 1.8 per cent. September 15 is the record date.

Mirae Asset Global Commodity Stocks Fund has revised its benchmark. The revised benchmarks were MSCI Asia Pacific ex Japan & India Energy and Material Index (55 per cent), MSCI Brazil Energy & Materials Index (10 per cent) and MSCI India Energy and Materials Index (35 per cent).
