Even as local mandis remained closed today, in private trading chana continued to trade higher at ₹9,800-10,000 a quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹9,500. Any decline in prices is expected only after arrival of imported chana from Australia, said Prakash Vora, a local trader. Chana dal (average) was ₹12,600-700, chana dal (medium) ₹12,800-900, while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹13,200-600 a quintal. Our Correspondent
