The volume in Mumbai edible oils market jumped tracking firm futures amid higher physical demand. However, prices for soft oil remained stable. On the BCE, groundnut and cotton oil witnessed hefty gain of ₹50 and ₹5 per 10kg. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹560, super palmolein ₹585, soyabean refined oil ₹635. Ruchi’s rates: soyabean refined oil ₹631. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin went up by ₹80 to ₹2,160 and loose (10 kg) increased by ₹60 to ₹1,400. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 1,390 (1,350), soya ref. 631 (631), sunflower exp. ref. 655 (655), sunflower ref. 735 (735), rapeseed ref. 890 (890), rapeseed exp. ref. 860 (860), cottonseed ref. 695 (690) and palmolein 553 (553).
