Groundnut oil was unchanged as demand was limited after previous day’s price rise. Groundnut oil loose stood at ₹785-790/10 kg while Jamnagar line telia tin was unchanged at ₹1,225-26/15 kg. Groundnut oil new tin was ₹1,365-70/15 kg. About 3-4 tankers of groundnut oil were traded in Saurashtra’s mills.
According to a miller, demand was down at the upper level. Within past two weeks, groundnut oil was mostly traded at upside due to shortage of raw material and good demand by local brands. Washed cotton oil was ₹635-638 for 10 kg and cotton oil new tin was ₹1,120-40 for 15 kg. About 25-30 tankers of cotton oil were traded here.
