Spot rubber was mixed on Wednesday. RSS 4 closed unchanged at ₹116 a kg, according to traders. The grade was quoted steady at ₹117 and 114 respectively by the Rubber Board and dealers. Meanwhile, latex improved on acute short supplies. December futures improved marginally to ₹115.80 (115.78), January to ₹116 (115.92) and February to ₹115.75 (114.73) a kg on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) firmed up at ₹101.89 (100.17) at Bangkok. November futures improved to ¥190 (₹100.17) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 116 (116); RSS-5: 111 (110.50); Ungraded: 106 (106); ISNR 20: 102 (102.50) and Latex 60%: 80 (77.50).
