Axis Bank was the top gainer on the BSE on Wednesday morning. At 10.50 am the share was trading at Rs 574 as against Rs 565.10 at close on Tuesday. This was a gain of 1.57 per cent.
BHEL gained 1.54 per cent to trade at Rs 244.70 as against Rs 241 at close yesterday.
Cipla perked up 1.33 per cent to trade at Rs 668. The share ended the session at Rs 659.20.
Bharti Airtel dialled up gains of 1.31 per cent to trade at Rs 406.10. The share finished the session at Rs 400.85.
Hero MotoCorp rode up 1.14 per cent at Rs 2,645.90 as against Rs 2,616.05 at close overnight.
