NMDC Ltd has informed the BSE that the company has subscribed to its full entitlement of shares of the rights offer of Legacy Iron Ore Ltd. Following the allotment, NMDC’s holding has risen to 115.34 crore shares with a voting power of 78.56 per cent in Legacy Iron Ore. Shares of NMDC closed at ₹174.05, up 1.96 per cent on the NSE.

SPML Infra has bagged two orders worth ₹1,002 crore from Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam to augment drinking water supply in Agra city by laying 128 km of water pipeline. This project, to be executed with its joint venture partner Megha Engineering Infrastructure Ltd, will be funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency. On Monday, the company (in a joint venture with Om Metals Infraprojects) had bagged an order worth ₹230 crore from Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam for construction of three hydro power plants.

Fortis Healthcare on Tuesday said it will seek shareholder approval to raise up to $500 million through equity and debt at its annual general meeting to be held on September 24. The company has already received the board of directors' approval to an enabling resolution to help it raise $500 million. Shares of Fortis Healthcare closed at ₹119.45 on the NSE, down 0.3 per cent from the previous close.
