JBF Industries on Friday said its step-down subsidiary JBF Petrochemicals has commissioned a purified terephthalic acid plant at Mangaluru in Karnataka. The plant, with a capacity is 1.25 mtpa, will strengthen competitiveness in the polyester chain space and also help improve margins, the company said in a filing to the exchanges. Shares of JBF Industries gained 1.6 per cent at ₹278.25 on the NSE.
INOX Leisure has started commercial operations of multiplex cinema theatres at Bharuch and Gandhinagar in Gujarat on leave and license basis with effect from Friday. The multiplex cinema theatre in Bharuch has three screens and 868 seats, while the Gandhinagar complex has five screens and 719 seats, the company said in an exchange filing. Shares of Inox Leisure ended up 3 per cent at ₹286.60 on the NSE.
Hindustan Oil Exploration Co has commissioned a pipeline and gas gathering station at the Dirok Gas Field in Assam and also completed the construction of four wells. In a notification to the stock exchanges, the company said the entire surface facilities were tested using Oil India’s facility at Kushijan in Assam. Oil India will buy the gas at a price set by the government, HOEL said, adding that the price will be revised every six months based on a basket of international gas prices. Shares of HOEL were up 1.4 per cent at ₹79.05 on the NSE.
